|Jon Hoban Named VP of Public Services Division at Rio Salado|
On May 23rd, Rio Salado Interim President Kate Smith announced that Jon Hoban, currently serving as Associate General Manager for Programming at KJZZ will fill the position of Vice President of the Division of Public Service that David O’Shea has been filling on an interim basis.
Jon has more than two decades in public media and 30 years in leadership roles. He has served as the Vice President of Radio for Georgia Public Broadcasting, Director of News for WHYY in Philadelphia, and Chief Operating Officer at Louisville Public Media. He will begin the new job on June 17.

|Streetcar Construction Updates|
- 9th Street & 11th Street west of Mill Avenue: Electrical upgrades for traffic signals may cause intermittent turn restrictions/closures.
- Gammage Curve/Apache Blvd: Work continues in the Gammage curve. Traffic will be maintained in both directions. Expect sidewalk/crosswalk detours.
- Apache Blvd from Rural Road to Cedar Street: Road widening work continues near Terrace Boulevard and concrete preparation work for the Overhead Catenary System foundations continues. Traffic will be maintained in both directions. Expect turn restrictions, metered parking restrictions and possible sidewalk/crosswalk detours.
- Rio Salado Parkway: Road widening efforts continue along Rio Salado Parkway with minor, intermittent turn restrictions.
- Downtown Mill Avenue: Track installation began on Mill Avenue between University Drive and Rio Salado Parkway on May 13. Click here to view the construction notice. Downtown Tempe Authority has organized the “Hard Hat Thursdays” which includes weekly promotions, specials and deals for customers.
Every Thursday from May 16 through August 15, a different downtown business will be featured along with their specials, and DTA is running weekly gift card giveaways both online and on the streets.

In celebration of June Dairy Month, Milk n More has all things dairy for guests to have fun, learn about Arizona dairy farming and sample healthy, delicious and most importantly farm-fresh dairy products. The Milk n More Festival will host a cheese curd eating contest, face painting, product sampling, raffle prizes, and a cooking demonstration.
