Join us as the Business Owners Forum hosts Marina A. DeWitt is from the Region 9 Advocate for theSBA Office of Advocacy
. Marina is gathering information on the federal regulations issues that small businesses have in Arizona. She will be giving a short presentation followed by an open discussion.

|Career Ready Tempe Student Deadline This Friday!|
The deadline for students to take part in Career Ready Tempe is this Friday! If you know a Tempe high school student, and want to make a difference, share this!
Career Ready Tempe aims to help prepare and develop Tempe youth to participate in the future workforce by connecting youth to college and career readiness support and partnering with Tempe employers to provide youth with internships in fields that are in demand.
The program will serve income-eligible Tempe youth who are in their junior or senior year of high school. Students will complete an application process to be selected for participation.

Tempe’s Climate Action Plan will impact how the city makes investments and takes actions to create lasting, positive environmental change. When the city takes action, in partnership with our residents, on improving our energy sources and a world-class transportation system, we make our city a great place to live and we reduce our impact on global climate change.
Through a public process, twelve actions have been identified to move forward on energy, transportation and extreme heat.

|42nd Annual Spring Tempe Festival of the Arts|
A sure sign of spring in Arizona is the return of the Spring Tempe Festival of the Arts in Downtown Tempe.
This year’s festival boasts nearly 350 visual artists from all over the continent who flock to Tempe to commune with other creatives, display and sell their artwork, and enjoy a 3-day long celebration March 29th through the 31st along and around Downtown Tempe’s famed Mill Avenue and adjoining thoroughfares.

The City of Tempe and Downtown Tempe Authority are hosting a Portal opportunity at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27 for women ages 18-34 to connect with other women of the same age in Stockholm, comparing experiences on what makes them feel safe and what doesn't. We will provide breakfast for participants.
